What Is The Difference Between a Lift Kit and a Leveling Kit?
Lift and leveling kits essentially do the same thing, but with varying levels of difficulty. A lift kit is a complex system of components that works to lift your entire truck body off the ground, but a leveling kit will only raise the front of your truck. See, most trucks in production come with their front sides dipping ever so slightly, and a leveling kit works to correct that imbalance and raise the truck back up to a level height - hence, leveling kit.
Because of their simpler kit design, leveling kits are a bit more limited in the lift that they're able to give your truck. Because lift kits just add onto the chassis, they can pretty much go as high as you want, with some lifts available in 10-inch heights, which is insane. But because leveling kits are meant to even out your truck, you'll find most of them in lift ranges from 1 to 3 inches high - way more manageable.
This also means that leveling kits are a much better option if you want to give your truck a new look without being too crazy with it. A lift kit, on the other hand, usually completely overhauls your truck's appearance, which some of you might not be super into. And that's okay, because not only are leveling kits easy to find, but they're also easy to install.

What Are The Different Types of Leveling Kits?
So, if you're ready to pull the trigger and get a leveling kit for yourself, you'll be greeted by quite a few different types in our inventory, which might be a little daunting if you don't know what you're getting into. There are three types of leveling kits that you need to be aware of, and we've listed more information on each below:
Coil Spring Spacers: Coil spring spacer kits work to level out your truck with a set of spacers that can be installed on either the top or the bottom of your truck's spring buckets. Shock extensions and bump stop relocations might come with these kits as well to make sure that you're getting the added lift and keeping your ride safe.
Strut Extensions: Strut extensions should only be used on trucks that have coilovers on the front of their chassis. You just need to place the extensions on the top or bottom of your struts, and you'll be good to go - of the three leveling kit types, this is by far the least involved, so if you're looking for a more economical way to give your truck a lift, strut extensions are a great choice.
Torsion Bar Keys: Torsion bar key leveling kits have a bit more involvement needed than the other two types we've covered, just because you'll need to physically replace new parts on your truck instead of just adding to the build itself. If your truck has a torsion bar system it uses to adjust the height, a torsion bar key is a great option to give you some extra lift and add some sturdiness to your ride.
